WMATA SafeTrack Blue and Yellow Line Shut Down July 6, 2016 - WMATA SafeTrack Blue and Yellow Line Shut Down Metro’s year-long track maintenance program, SafeTrack, will have a significant effect on students and staff who use Metrorail as part of their commute. Reduced rail service along the lines where work is being conducted will result in extreme crowding and delays of an hour or more. RWPCS Closed Wednesday, March 16, 2016 March 16, 2016 - RWPCS will be closed today as WMATA announced their entire Metrorail system will be shut down. This impacts our staff and students tremendously.  Metrorail has NEVER shut down in all of WMATA’s history. RWPCS will closely follow METRO’s updates today in order to plan for tomorrow.
